Who steals art?
I read a headline this morning about an art show at a gallery closing as a result of a theft. This got me thinking about art theft in general and how it’s just something I’ve never really understood. Those old art heist movies never really made sense to me. Any art that is theoretically worth stealing has got to be unsellable. It’s owner and location are well-known to any potential buyer.
